If you are an SEO expert, this update provides practical value from a Local SEO analysis perspective.

GeoRanker introduced a feature that makes it possible to run a multi-location rank-tracking report using variables inside the search query.

## Goal

### Identify rankings for a multi-location business using explicit local keywords

**URL:** pizzahut.com

**Keywords:** pizza delivery Miami, pizza delivery Chicago, pizza delivery Houston and other location-specific variations.

**Keyword formula:** keyword + location

Create a rank-tracking report using the following keyword string:

```
pizza delivery {:region:}
```

## Result

In the same report, GeoRanker crawlers search for the same URL across different keywords in each selected location.

| Location | Keyword |
| --- | --- |
| Miami | Pizza Delivery Miami |
| Chicago | Pizza Delivery Chicago |
| Houston | Pizza Delivery Houston |

The keyword used for rank tracking changes according to the targeted location. Previously, every keyword required a separate report. Dynamic keywords make it possible to include the locations in one report, reducing the time and credits required to generate the analysis.

## Dynamic keyword variables

- `{:region:}` - region or city name, for example New York
- `{:lang:}` - report language, for example en
- `{:countryname:}` - full country name, for example United States
- `{:countrylang:}` - default country language code, for example en
- `{:countrycode:}` - lowercase country code, for example us
- `{:latitude:}` - latitude for the region, when available
- `{:longitude:}` - longitude for the region, when available
-   `{:dayoftheweek:}` - day of the week
-   `{:dayofthemonth:}` - day of the month
-   `{:monthname:}` - current month name
-   `{:monthnumber:}` - current month number
-   `{:year:}` - current year

Date-related variables can also be used in monitors to modify the search query automatically over time.
